How It Works

From Telegram channel to verified backtest results in four steps.

01

Connect your Telegram account

Authenticate with Telegram's official API — read-only access, no posting.

Click "Connect Telegram" and log in with your phone number. We use Telegram's official MTProto API with read-only permissions. We never post messages, join channels on your behalf, or access any conversation outside the channels you explicitly select. Your session token is encrypted and stored only for the duration of your session.

Tip

You only need to authenticate once. Your connection persists across sessions.

02

Pick your signal channels

Select one or more Telegram channels that publish Forex trading signals.

After connecting, you'll see a list of channels you're already a member of. Select one or more signal channels to include in your backtest. On the free tier you can test up to 3 channels individually. On the Early Adopter plan you can run a combined multi-channel simulation to see how a blended portfolio of signal sources would have performed.

Tip

Not sure which channels to test? Start with one channel and compare results before adding more.

03

Configure your backtest

Set your starting balance, lot size, date range, and risk parameters.

Before running the simulation, configure the key parameters: starting account balance (e.g. $10,000), fixed lot size or risk percentage per trade, date range (last 7 days on free, unlimited on paid), and how to handle signals with multiple take-profit levels (TP1 only, TP2, or all TPs). Our AI parses each signal message and extracts entry, stop loss, and take-profit values automatically — you can review and override any parsed value before running.

Tip

Use a realistic lot size relative to your balance. A common starting point is 0.01 lots per $1,000.

04

Run the simulation & read the results

Execute the backtest and explore your equity curve, trade log, and risk metrics.

Hit "Run Backtest" and the engine replays every signal against historical price data. Results appear in seconds. You'll see a full equity curve showing account growth over time, a trade-by-trade log with entry/exit prices and PnL, and a risk metrics panel covering win rate, average RR, max drawdown, and Sharpe ratio. Use chart replay mode to step through individual trades and see exactly where each signal was entered and exited on the price chart.

Tip

A high win rate alone doesn't mean a channel is profitable. Always check the risk-reward ratio and max drawdown together.
